Common questions

The speed says "GPS" with a flashing dot. Your phone is still finding satellites. Move closer to a window. Trains and planes block GPS through the roof and walls.

Why does the speed dim in tunnels? There's no GPS underground, so Speed Live holds your last speed and shows "NO GPS" until you're back outside.

How do I see my speed on the Lock Screen? Start a trip, then lock your phone. Your speed appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Allow location "Always" in Settings › Speed Live › Location for the best result.

Does it need mobile data? No. GPS works without signal, including in airplane mode.

How do I change km/h, mph or knots? Tap the unit under the speed, or choose it in Settings.

Can I use it while driving? Please don't look at it while driving. Let a passenger use it.
